#45 Devotee Care Exercises to nourish their Inner Lives
Devotees have to be aware how they can be internally peaceful by proper spiritual education and engagement. If they are peaceful and satisfied, they will be more able to turn their attention to the welfare of the outside society. Srila Prabhupada’s expert spiritual direction and effective engagement of his disciples enabled them to create a spiritual revolution throughout the world. Now a similar responsibility lies on the shoulders of those who are tending to the lives of others. Leaders must carefully consider their own inner lives. Under proper guidance they should learn how to withdraw their consciousness from external things and demonstrate proper thinking, feeling and willing based on the processes given by Srila Prabhupada and the previous acharyas. Such scientific
training for preachers and leaders in cultivating their inner self is the need of the hour. Sincere preachers should consciously and without duplicity, train their thinking, feeling and willing processe by keeping themselves in the light of Krsna consciousness through bona fide hearing in the association of devotees able to give them needed guidance.
